Franca is experienced in all aspects of domestic trademark filing, prosecution and opposition. She has extensive experience advising clients concerning all aspects of trademark protection, including the availability and proper use of trademarks. Franca has expertise in the drafting of trademark licenses and in performing due diligence reviews of trademark portfolios. Prior to resuming private practice, Franca served as a consultant for the Canadian Intellectual Property Office's Special Secondary Examination Project. Franca is a registered trademark agent with the Canadian Trademarks Office.
