Aretha R. Bright

Attorney Aretha R. Bright joined The Vrdolyak Law Group in 2018 and primarily practices in personal injury. She received her Juris Doctor from Chicago-Kent-Illinois Institute of Technology in 1998 and her B.A. from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign in 1995, making Dean’s List at both.

Before she joined The Vrdolyak Law Group, Bright spent her career primarily as a personal injury defense attorney for 20 years. She also worked as a traffic prosecutor for the City of Chicago. Bright then went on to work for the Chicago Transit Authority, where she tried numerous trials involving motor vehicle accidents, rail accidents, slips and falls, premises liability, and wrongful death. Bright went on to work at an insurance defense firm, representing clients insured by one of the largest insurance companies. She brings her experience in personal injury law and her knowledge and expertise of insurance and defense of personal injury to give the best overall representation to Plaintiffs.

 

While working for The Vrdolyak Law Group, Bright has tried numerous cases to verdict.  She has brought in multi-millions of dollars in settlements for clients.  She takes pride in helping clients achieve their best outcome.

Attorney Bright resides in the southwestern suburbs. She enjoys community service and spending time with loved ones. She serves as a board member of the Illinois Black History Museum. Bright is located at the Tinley Park office.
