A woman was injured when the commuter train she was traveling on struck an improperly positioned crossing gate. The lead attorney on the case was Steven C. Armbruster.
The defendant refused to pay because, according to their records, the gate was functioning properly at all times prior to the incident, they had a witness who reported an unknown
pick-up truck striking the gate less than 30 minutes before the accident. To top it all off, they had the victim followed, resulting in a video showing the victim moving without difficulty. But
the victim was truly injured.
The Vrdolyak Law Group spent tens of thousands of their own dollars to hire experts who proved the victim was injured and that the defendant was liable for those injuries.
In the end, when faced with going to trial against the Vrdolyak Law Group, the defendant was forced to pay over $2,000,000 for the woman’s injuries.
